Question:
Is it possible to hypnotise someone in a different location? I need one.
Answer:
Not only is it possible, it’s very commonplace now.
Before the COVID-19 lockdowns, a few people were offering virtual sessions, but they were very few and very far between. But as so many different industries learned to work via Zoom, so did hypnotherapists, and now it’s exceedingly rare for hypnotherapists not to offer virtual sessions to those who want them. Personally, I still prefer one on one in person sessions. I feel there is a better connection and stronger rapport that way, but will happily do it remotely if that’s what is wanted or needed. Virtual sessions can be just as effective as in person ones. One worry people often have is that they may get ‘stuck’ in hypnosis if the connection goes down. There is no need to worry about this though. It’s impossible for that to happen. Hypnosis has been around for thousands of years and millions, if not billions, of people have been in hypnosis. Never once is there a record of anybody getting stuck. The worst that happens is they fall asleep, then wake up a little later quite naturally. And even if it were possible, any well trained hypnotherapist will set a trigger in the client to wake right away if the connection does go down, so there is even less to worry about.
So yes, as long as you have an internet connection, you can access the transformative power of hypnosis from pretty much anywhere in the world!
