Question:
How do I hypnotize someone in 6 seconds?
Answer:
Honestly, you probably aren’t going to be able to, sorry.
Although it is entirely possible to do it in this time frame, several things need to be in place first and as you are asking here, it’s probably safe to assume those things are not in place. One of the main components of hypnosis is expectation from the hypnotee. The person being hypnotized needs to trust in the process and in your abilities, which builds compliance. I’m a professional hypnotherapist with plenty of experience helping people, anybody who knows this will expect me to be able to ‘put them under’ very quickly, so that is exactly what will happen. If however you are trying it on one of your mates who knows you are not a highly proficient hypnotist, they are more likely to think “I’ll have a go, but I really doubt it’ll work’ and that is also what will happen. That’s not to say it’s 100% impossible and you wouldn’t be able to learn. I’m just saying learn the skill first rather than trying to jump straight to doing stunts with it.
And if you successfully hypnotize someone in a more traditional way, there is nothing stopping you giving a posthypnotic suggestion to ‘drop’ within six seconds in future interactions.
